The Super Eagles are currently gearing up for their vital World Cup qualifying play-off against Ethiopia on November 16, where they take a 2-1 away win into the second leg in Calabar.
However, attentions in coach Stephen Keshi's camp have already turned to next year's tournament, which will pit only domestically
based footballers against one another.
The Ghana Football Association are yet to accept or reject the invitation, although the proposed encounter is only expected to be
penciled in for mid-December.
