Messi on way out of Barca

Lionel Messi is reportedly ready to put Manchester City on red alert by announcing he wants to leave Barcelona at the end of.the season.
Messi, who is a graduate of the Barca academy, is believed to be in talks with the club over a bumper new contract extension.
But according to Spanish TV, he is ready to snub that and move elsewhere, with the Premier League a likely option.
In late September, hardly two months ago,.Messi and his representatives met with Barcelona. The footballer wanted a revision of his contract with the Catalan club that he was promised would be fulfilled.
“An increase was agreed. However, after a month the club got in touch with him and explained they were unable to do it.
“The decision is taken. Leo Messi will leave Barca at the end of the season. He will go to a country very close to ours.
“The situation is irreversible and his agents have already spoken to the possible destination club.
This incredible news was revealed by respected Spanish journalist Francois Gallardo on the country’s infamous transfer show Punto Pelota.
Messi’s current deal with Barcelona runs until 2018.
