Keshi, Manu Garba tie for Coach of the Year Award

With just three days to the coveted Nigerian Sports Award at the Muson Centre, Lagos on Tuesday November 26, the Coach of the year award category will definitely be one of the most keenly contested as the Super Eagles
Coach Stephen Keshi is pitched against the Golden Eaglets Coach, Manu Garba.
The General Manager, Unmissable Incentives Limited organisers of the award, Mr Kayode Idowu has said the race for the Coach of the
Year award is one of the toughest as the two coaches have been at the peak of performance in the last one year.
"Of all the categories of the award, I must note that the Coach of the Year award is one that is most knit tight because the two nominated coaches have performed excellently with their teams winning laurels and making Nigerians proud" he added.
Keshi led his side to lift the African Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2013 for the record third time in South Africa and most recently qualified Nigeria for the 2014 FIFA World
Cup.
With this, he made history by emerging the only local coach to have qualified two different African countries to the World Cup.
He is also the first Nigerian to have qualified for the world cup as a player and now as a coach.
On the other hand, Manu Garba inspired his Golden Eaglets side to win Silver at the African U-17 Championship last year before winning the just concluded FIFA U-17 World Cup in the United Arab Emirates.
Beyond winning the tournament, his boys almost swept all the individual awards with the Striker Kelechi Iheanacho claiming both
the tournament Golden Ball for the most valuable player and the Silver Ball as the second highest goal poacher while the goalkeeper Dele Alampasu emerged the
tournament safest hands winning the Golden Glove.

Hmmmmm this is where they need mature hands oooo. Who u think sey worth am? Oya comments...
