Tottenham and Liverpool join race for Serie A winger

Manchester United , Arsenal , Tottenham and Liverpool all sent scouts to watch Torino winger Alessio Cerci in action for Italy against Nigeria at Craven Cottage on Monday evening, according to talkSPORT.
The in-form winger was used as a second half substitute as the Italians were held to a 2-2 draw by the African side, and whilst it was not his best display, the Premier League quartet have been left hugely impressed by his start to
the season in Serie A.
The 26-year-old has begun the season in superb form, hitting eight goals in 12 league games, leading to several of the Premier
League big guns plotting a January move.
Cerci has only recently begun to show the sort of form that has earned him international recognition.
The winger spent seven years at Roma where he failed to shine, before moving to Fiorentina in 2010.
He was more impressive in Florence, but moved on again after two years, and has since been showing fine form for Torino, so much so that his value has rocketed to £12.5million.
Manchester United, Arsenal, Tottenham and Liverpool are all in the market for a new wide man.
David Moyes has been left frustrated for the best part with the performances of Ashley Young, Nani and Antonio Valencia at Old
Trafford, while Theo Walcott’s fitness problems at Arsenal remain a concern.
£30million man Erik Lamela is yet to make any sort of impact at Tottenham, whilst Liverpool have only 18-year-old Raheem Sterling and on loan Victor Moses as the out-and-out wide players on the club’s books.

It seems this year has brought lots of twist in football. The question that comes is why were the scouts out when italy was to face nigeria? Probably they predicted a tough match hmmmm
