Victor Moses and Kolo Toure had cause for celebration on Saturday as their respective countries secured qualification for next summer’s FIFA World Cup in Brazil.
Reds defender Toure played the full 90 minutes as Ivory Coast earned a 1-1 draw against Senegal and therefore a 4-2 aggregate
victory over two legs.
Earlier in the day, Moses converted a first- half penalty as Nigeria booked its place at the tournament with a 2-0 win against Ethiopia and a4-1 aggregate score.
The Super Eagles led the two-legged series 2-1 following the first encounter last month, and the on-loan Liverpool forward instantly
extended the advantage in Calabar.
It seems this liverpool guys are bringing their long lost premiership success to their home land, which you guys best of luck in the world cup. YNWA. lol.
