Mercy Myra featured on India Arie’s new track

Grammy award winning American soul singer, India Arie has released a new track ‘Thy will be done’ featuring Kenyan artist, Mercy Myra
and Jamaican artiste, Gramps Morgan.
Myra whose name was slowly fading away after she left Kenya to the U.S in 2005 suddenly hit it big by joining Arie on her new track. The Kenyan artiste gave the gospel reggae track a blend with her Kiswahili lines and together the
musicians all prayed for God’s gentle touch in their lives.

Myra began her music career in 1996 with the Calabash Band and in 2007, she joined the R and B group Destinee.
She released her debut single ‘Sitaki’ in 1998 and currently has two albums ‘Taba Samu’ (2001) and ‘Nyisri Malong’O’ (2003).
