President Barack Obama and our President Goodluck Jonathan have reaffirmed their commitment to fighting terrorism, including
ending an insurgency in northern Nigeria by the Boko Haram group.
The White House says Obama also restated U.S. support for strengthening transparent,
democratic governance, and of making sure upcoming Nigerian elections in 2015 are peaceful, transparent and credible.
We hope all these peace talks will translate into real action.
