Remember when Kim Kardashian married Kris Humphries and made a big deal about changing her last name? We watched it play out on her reality show, Keeping up With the Kardashians.
Kris Humphries wasn’t too thrilled that she decided to remain “Kardashian for life.” That sentiment on Kim’s part has changed. She told E! News that once she marries Kanye her name will beKim Kardashian West, no hyphen.
So, there it is. She found the man persuasive enough to make her change her name.
Kanye West opens up about his love-hate relationship with his adopted home of Los Angeles in Jared Leto and 30 Seconds To Mars’ short film City of Angels . In the piece West talks about how L.A. gave him greatest joy, but also took away his closest confidant.
“I remember liking it when I was first out there, but I also did lose my mother to that city,” says West. “And that’s the weird thing because I feel like this city took my mother, but this city also gave me my child.”

11 strange men in black robes (can you spot them in the pic above?) caused a stir at Chelsea's Stamford Bridge yesterday Sunday October 27th during the Chelsea vs Manchester City clash.
Goal.com reports that the hooded men, who had mysterious circles on their chest, were seen making curious synchronised movements at irregular intervals during Chelsea's 2-1 win, while they also stood in unison at random moments.

corner flag at the Shed End, the gang could be clearly seen on TV cameras beaming pictures of the crunch fixture all across the world.
One Chelsea fan sat close to the mysterious guests was Robin Taylor, who said afterwards that he was slightly perturbed by their presence.

Guerilla Black has been sentenced to 110 months in prison for credit card fraud.
Born Charles Williamson, the 37-year-old US rapper had earlier pleaded guilty to theft and fraud charges over a scam involving him stealing over 27,000 credit card numbers from a Maryland hacker.
Reports say he will be supervised for 5 years following his release.

Chris Brown catches another break!
According to TMZ, he was released a few hours ago without bail and the assault charge has been reduced from a felony, which could
have landed him in prison, to a misdemeanor.
He's also required to stay 100 yards away from the man he allegedly punched in D.C
yesterday.
Chris, who has been in custody since the incident, had been ordered to take a drug test, but the judge vacated that order. His
bodyguard's charge was also reduced to a misdemeanor.

The Iranian U/17 national team is working on a strategy to shock the Golden Eaglets when they meet today at the Khalifa Bin Stadium in
Al Ain in a round of 16 knock out stage clash.
The Golden Eaglets handlers have however promised they are banking on the team's pedigree experience to subdue the highly
defensive Iranian team. The Nigerian team has won the Under-17 World Cup three times
while the Iranians are only making their third appearances in the history of the tournament.
Captain of the Iranian side, Majid Hosseini says their making it to the round of 16 was no fluke and that will also come to play today when they meet the Eaglets. Iran's strength lies in its defensive tactical play and Hosseini said that strategy remains. "We do everything we can to make sure we don't let the opponents in," the captain and centre-back Majid Hosseini revealed.
Iran only scored three times to get this far and will be facing a Nigerian side that is blistering in attack with an average score line
of 4.6 goals per game. Nigerian coach, Manu Garba says his attack is blistering with many options that can destroy any team.

Nigeria’s EbonyLife TV and Disney Media Distribution EMEA say they will co-produce a new series called “Desperate Housewives Africa.”
EbonyLife TV’s CEO Mo Abudu says the series will have “an African soul” featuring a cast of new and established pan-African talent that will showcase fashion by Nigerian dress designers.
It is to air in summer 2014.
In a joint statement Monday, Abudu said the African version of the popular series will be filmed on location in a gated community of the upscale Lekki suburb in Lagos, Nigeria’s bustling economic hub.
Disney EMEA general manager Giovanni Mastrangelo said it offers “the opportunity to engage African audiences through locally
relevant and entertaining storytelling.”
He said versions of “Desperate Housewives” have been produced in Turkey, Argentina, Brazil and the United States in Spanish.
Conrad Murray has been released from prison after an incarceration
period for cause the death of pop star Michael Jackson.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department confirmed to Fox News that the former doctor was released from a Los Angeles jail at 12:01 a.m.
Murray was sentenced to four years, but served less than two years. He was convicted of involuntary manslaughter in 2011 for the 209 death of Jackson. Murray lost his ability to practice in three states after giving MJ a lethal dose of propofol, which was supposed to help the singer sleep.
A change in California law created the circumstances of Murray’s early release.
On Monday Oct. 21st, US Republican Senator Ted Cruz told a rally that Nigerian email scammers have been hired to run the Obamacare website, a comment that a lot of Nigerians found offensive. After being bombarded with several phone calls from
Nigerians in Houston and all across the US, the office of Ted Cruz has issued a statement from the Senator apologizing for what he
said.

It’s unfortunate that we’re living in a time where just about every joke can be misconstrued to cause offense to someone.
To the good people of Nigeria - a
beautiful nation where my wife lived briefly as the child of missionaries - no offense was intended.

Star couple Future and Ciara are set to get married. According to
reports the “Honest” performer presented CiCi with a 15-carat diamond ring on Sunday during her birthday weekend in New York. The Atlanta natives have not decided on a wedding date as of yet.
