I agree with the PFF’s policy to charge Rs25,000 for the course. Those coaches, who serve departments, will no doubt be able to pay the fee, but those who serve regions and associations will not be able to pay,” he said. “For them there should be some concession. I think the fee for them should be reduced to Rs10,000.”
Nasir, who has Licence A, said that the PFF’s decision to hold the course on self-finance basis was a good move. “If coaches spend from their pockets, they will take the course seriously. When a few years ago I went to Sri Lanka to do my Licence A course I had to spend from my own pocket and so I tried really hard and topped the examination,” Nasir recalled.
The PFF is going to hold AFC Licence B coaching course in Lahore in June-July this year in which 24 Licence-C holders will take part from various regions of the country.
