efforts to put off the fire.
A competent source in the ministry told our
reporter that no life was lost in the inferno.
He said archival materials such as calendars,
historical documents, diaries and other
electrical appliances were burnt.
Elayo told reporters that the fire was caused by
power fluctuations.
Elayo said that the fire started around 10.30
a.m but was put off through efforts of the
ministry’s staff before the arrival of fire
fighters from the state fire service.
He said the ministy’s store was being
reorganised before the incident.

the state ministry of works to ascertain the
