Kerry Washington has been named the World’s Best Dressed Woman by People Magazine.
The 36-year-old Scandal star revealed she prefers to stay covered up and comfortable on
the red carpet. She enjoys wearing trainers when she’s off red carpet duty and prefers not to wear anything too skintight.
Other celebrities who made the list of style icons include Academy Award-winner Jennifer Lawrence , singer Solange Knowles and actresses Jessica Chastain and Kate
Bosworth . ‘There has been a trend this year in lady-like fashion and I think she is almost single- handedly responsible for it,’ says Elizabeth Sporkin, People magazine Executive Editor.
I think she rightly deserves this award as she has been churning out a lot of stylish outfits on the red carpet all year long.
